SARAH GERONIMO
Sarah Geronimo continues to add to her multi-decorated cap
this year.
Just recently, she was handpicked to record an English
version of the Disney Princess theme song “The Glow” – the first Pinay to do
so.
Prior, Sarah already made waves internationally winning the
Best Southeast Asia Act plum at the 2014 MTV EMA. Of course, Sarah also won
several awards in home turf. She nabbed the Best R&B Recording award for
her single “Ikot-Ikot” at the 2014 Awit Awards, Female Performer of the year at
the Yahoo Philippines OMG! Award, Favorite Media Soundtrack (“It Takes a Man
and a Woman”) and Favorite Artist at the MYX Awards.
She also took home four trophies at the Guillermo Mendoza
Memorial Scholarship Foundation Box Office Entertainment Awards (GMSSF)
including Box Office Queen (“It Takes A Man And A Woman”) and Female Concert
Performer of the Year (“Perfect 10”), among others.
Acting wise, Sarah won the Best Performance by an Actress in
a Lead Role (Musical or Comedy) plum for her performance in “It Takes A Man And
A Woman” at the ENPRESS Golden Screen Awards.
